Southport Chiropractic has been delivering quality chiropractic care to the Gold Coast community since 1979.  The Family Health Professionals Helensvale is somewhat newer having been established in June 2010.  Both are owned and operated by Dr Luke Hennessy.  Read more about Luke in the Meet the Practitioner section of this website.

My approach is simple. I believe that health is our most valuable possession. My focus is to restore, enhance and maintain your health. I have a couple of different ways I approach this:

1. Relief Care

When many people seek care in our office they have one goal: relief. So that’s where we start! During this initial stage of intensive care, we have several obligations:

• Uncover the underlying cause of the health problem
• Suggest a care plan to produce the most effective results possible
• Offer ways patients can participate in their recovery
• Explain the value of post-symptomatic wellness care

2. Wellness Care

I like to see people functioning at a higher level than what they are when they first come in. I also want people to be empowered with the knowledge of what they need to do to help their body heal and be healthier in themselves. Through educational opportunities such as healthcare workshops and this website I hope to communicate the value of ongoing chiropractic care.

Regardless of your health goals, please understand that I am only the facilitator to your health. You’re health is your choice. It’s your body and your future. My role is to offer you the best chiropractic care possible, and it’s up to you to decide how much of it you want.
